Want to know more about the apprenticeship system?
Would you like to work with your employer to improve apprenticeship standards?
A course for union reps on the apprenticeship system is available in Birmingham and Nottingham. Apprenticeships are promoted nationally as a way to get young people (and adults) back into work.
Despite the work of the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) there seems no doubt that some schemes are run with little concern for quality of training. Trade union reps in the Midlands can make a tremendous contribution to the future by working with employers to improve apprenticeship standards. The TUC has worked closely with NAS and the practical benefit of that knowledge and experience will be part of the Understanding Apprenticeships course.
Courses are available in:
Birmingham
