The Midlands TUC invites you to an essential briefing on young workers and their employment rights.
Given the record levels of youth unemployment it is vital that all efforts are made to increase the numbers of young people in employment. As various initiatives take effect, and more young people enter the workforce, it imperative that we ensure young workers are aware of their rights and are organised with the union movement.
The seminar will explain:
- Current legal and contractual rights affecting young workers
- Health & Safety and protection at work issues.
- Organising opportunities and strategies for young workers.

10am – 1pm and repeated at 12pm – 3pm
