Regional Council debates Blacklisting scandal

Today's TUC Midlands Regional Council debated the scandal of employers blacklisting workers. Most of the workers on the lists of the Consulting Association worked in the building trade and had their livelihoods shattered as they were denied employment over a number of years. The trades unions which organise in the construction industry, Ucatt, Unite and the GMB, have been campaigning for the construction employers to own up to what they have done and pay the compensation they believe is owed to those workers who were affected. Below  are images of some of the delegates to today's meeting.
